At school, once a week, 3rd and 4th grade students create mixed groups to work on languages through “challenges”. These challenges are small games that present different objectives or problems that children have to achieve or solve. It is a playful and fun way to reinforce the different dimensions of the linguistic field, both Catalan and Spanish. In addition, interaction between equals is very important too. This interaction has to be real and spontaneous, because it is very necessary to be able to complete the challenges satisfactorily.
